Can I see loose beryls before I choose one?
Yes — that's how we work. Book a viewing or just walk in, sit down with the actual stones, and we'll discuss origin and treatment on every beryl.
What gems are in the beryl family?
Beryl is the family behind some of the great coloured gems — blue aquamarine, pink morganite, golden heliodor, green emerald and colourless goshenite. Treatment varies by type (aquamarine and morganite are usually gently heated), and we disclose it on every stone. Most beryl sits at 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, fine for an everyday ring.
