Is your lapis natural, and is it good for a ring?

The finest lapis is a deep, even royal blue flecked with gold pyrite, from Afghanistan. Some lapis on the market is dyed or waxed, so we tell you plainly what each stone is. At 5 to 5.5 on the Mohs scale it's softer, so it's best in pendants, earrings, or a ring worn with care.
