The Performance Basket is the curated acquisition surface for collectors building their hard-asset allocation at Skyjems. Every stone here is documented, independently certified (GIA, GRS, or AGL), and priced at the fine-investment tier.

The allocation rule

A disciplined portfolio allocates at least 20% to hard assets. Of that, 50% physical precious metals and 50% coloured gemstones, acquired at regular intervals - the way a disciplined investor contributes to an RRSP, not the way a speculator chases a spike.

• Heated Ceylon (Sri Lankan) sapphire - the deepest continuous supply and the most liquid resale market.
• Zambian emerald - oil-treated to industry standard, with provenance that survives auction scrutiny.
• Mahenge spinel - Tanzania's colour-saturated supply, structurally scarce.
• Para�ba tourmaline - Mozambique and Brazil, with documented copper signatures.
• Afghani (Jegdalek) and Tajik (Pamir / Snezhnoe) ruby - the next Mogok, before the market reprices it.
• Fine Madagascan alexandrite and Brazilian tourmaline - opportunistic, when specimens clear documentation.
