The JNA Awards are an annual industry recognition programme, established in 2012 by Jewellery Net Asia, that honour outstanding companies and individuals in the Asian jewellery and gemstone industry across categories including manufacturer of the year, retailer of the year, sustainability initiative, employer of the year, design excellence, and lifetime achievement. The awards ceremony is held annually in September in Hong Kong, alongside the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, and is one of the principal Asian industry recognition events.

Categories and Judging

Awards are judged by an independent international panel that historically has included academics, industry executives, gemmological laboratory representatives, and trade press editors. Categories evolve over time but have included Manufacturer of the Year, Retailer of the Year (with separate awards for mainland China, Greater China, India, and other regional segments), Industry Innovation, Sustainability, Employer of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Design Excellence, and Lifetime Achievement.

Trade Position

The awards have become a recognised regional fixture, alongside the JCK Industry Awards in North America and the European JOIA awards in the European market. Recognition by the JNA Awards is regarded as a meaningful credential for Asian and globally-active jewellery firms.
