Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show
Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show
The companion antique fair to the JCK Las Vegas trade week
The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is a specialist trade fair that runs concurrently with JCK Las Vegas each spring, and is widely regarded as the most concentrated gathering of antique, period and estate jewellery dealers held in North America during the May-to-June trade calendar. Operated for many years by U.S. Antique Shows (a division of Emerald Expositions, the same group that owns JCK), it functions as a satellite event drawing the same buying audience but with a tighter editorial focus on signed period pieces, important watches and historical gemstones.
The show is restricted to vetted dealers in antique, vintage and estate material, with exhibitor lists typically including specialists in Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Belle Epoque, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Retro and mid-century houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co., Boucheron and Mauboussin. For working jewellers and gem buyers it is a useful adjunct to JCK proper, since most of the inventory is one-of-a-kind and many pieces carry the kind of provenance documentation that is rarely seen on contemporary loose-stone calls.
From a trade-floor standpoint the event matters because it brings the antique and estate channel into the same week as the new-goods market. A buyer can finish appointments for new mountings or rough sapphire on the JCK side and then walk a curated antique fair the same afternoon, which is unusual outside of the European auction season. Pricing tends to follow the broader signed-period market: condition, signature, original fittings and original boxes drive value far more than carat weight in isolation.
