Collection: Chrysoberyl
Chrysoberyl’s name comes from the Greek chrysos for gold, and beryllos for beryl. It is a hard and durable gemstone that is usually found with a yellow hue, but also sometimes in brown, green, and orange. The best known varieties of chrysoberyl include alexandrite and cat’s eye. It can be found in Brazil, Australia, India, China, Madagascar, Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka, Russia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
