Collection: Jadeite Jade

Occuring in almost every colour, the most popular shades of jadeite are pale green and vivid green (also known as “imperial jadeite”). The tough, durable gemstone features a uniquely mottled visual texture that makes it adored by jewellers and sculptors alike. More valuable than gold, jade has been used for centuries to make weapons, tools, jewellery, ornaments, and religious artifacts. Jadeite has held importance throughout centuries of Chinese culture in particular, where it was thought at various times to combat fatigue, represent moral purity and spiritual depth, and has been associated with wealth and power. Jadeite is also thought to represent heaven when it is paired with gold.
